Cos'è Biofreeze®
Biofreeze® è un innovativo prodotto che allevia il dolore grazie alle proprietà terapeutiche della Crioterapia.
- Prima dell’attività sportiva permette un movimento fluido; dopo l’attività sportiva riduce l’indolenzimento da Doms (indolenzimento muscolare a insorgenza ritardata) fornendo massimo sollievo, entro 1 ora e fino a 5 ore dopo l’applicazione;
- Fornisce un rapido ed efficace sollievo in caso di dolori muscolari, artriti, dolori alla schiena, alle spalle e al collo, alle articolazioni del ginocchio, della caviglia, delle anche e del gomito;
- Riduce la temperatura cutanea e l’infiammazione e permette un veloce recupero;
- Aiuta a trattare il dolore associato a malattie come neuropatia diabetica, tendinite, borsite, fascite plantare.
Come funziona
Il Mentolo attiva il termorecettore TRPM8 (Transient Receptor Potential), recettore del freddo, che una volta attivato blocca il passaggio dei segnali del dolore provenienti dalle fibre nervose A-delta e fibre C mediante un’azione di contrasto conosciuta come teoria del cancello ”Gate control” o “Gating”.
Un terzo tipo di fibre nervose è chiamato A-beta e sono definite “nocicettori”, poiché permettono di segnalare al cervello gli stimoli dolorosi. La teoria del cancello “Gate Control” afferma che i segnali trasmessi dalle fibre A-delta e C possono essere contrastati dall’attivazione/stimolazione delle fibre A-beta: si blocca la percezione del dolore poichè il segnale non arriva al cervello.
